WANT TO LOSE THE WEIGHT? According to new research, people who keep eating the TREATS THEY LOVE are more likely to drop those pesky pounds!
A survey of 2,100 adults showed that most people (86% of dieters) who kept eating the treats they loved… LOST WEIGHT. Elimination diets tend to fail because you don’t eat what you really want to, you feel deprived and so you eat a load of other foods to compensate! Crazy huh?!
— Another study, showed that most people (65%) who BAN TREATS actually GAIN WEIGHT over time!
So take a chill pill. Add more healthy foods to your diet yes BUT, don’t be afraid to have the odd treat (a certain proportion e.g. 10% of your food being ‘play food’ is not the end of the world). No food should be forbidden! If you eat some pumpkin pie (the one in my photo is gluten free, dairy free, decadent deliciousness!), it’s no biggie 🙂
