Breastfeeding controversy: Be honest – do you agree with HOW HARSHLY THIS WOMAN HAS BEEN JUDGED? Just as 25 year old Karlesha Thurman graduated from California State University, she noticed her daughter Aaliyah was hungry so she fed her. Her friend took a photo, she posted it on the Facebook page “Black Women Do Breastfeed”, it went viral and now people are accusing this accountancy graduate of all sorts of things… Including being “sexually promiscuous” and “immoral”! Do you agree with the public shaming of this girl? Even though breastfeeding is recommended by doctors, we still behave as if it’s some weird exhibitionist thing these new mothers are doing! LOL.
Karlesha Thurman: “I was proud of the fact that not only did I graduate, but that I got to share the moment with the one person who is the most important to me and that is my daughter…
I honestly thought that as a society, people were more understanding to breastfeeding and understood the importance of breastfeeding,” she said. “It’s not disgusting, it’s not a bad thing, it’s not a negative thing. It’s the best thing for my daughter. More people should do it.”

I agree that her breast is exposed but you can’t see her nipples,’cos she is breastfeeding ,duh.Besides that’s an extension of here chest.
